Insurance and Payment
Dr. Andrews does not accept third-party payment. This includes commercial insurances, Medicare, Medicaid, Worker’s Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accident Payment. With each visit, Dr. Andrews will give you a superbill with all the codes needed for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. If you would like to check if you can be reimbursed by insurance prior to scheduling an appointment, you can call your insurance company and ask if you can see an Out-Of-Network physician and ask if the CPT code 98929 is a covered service. This is one of the procedural codes used by insurances to classify Osteopathic Manipulative Treatments. If it is a covered service, you will likely be reimbursed at least a portion of our fees.
As a general rule, if your insurance requires a referral to see a specialist, you may need a referral to be reimbursed for OMT. If you do require a referral, please ask your PCP for a referral for Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
Payments are due at the time of service; we accept cash, checks and all major credit cards
Medicare
Dr. Andrews is Medicare Opt-Out. If you have Medicare, you will be given an Opt-Out form that we will ask you to sign. This form just acknowledges that you understand Dr. Andrews is Medicare Opt-Out. What this means is that you cannot submit his bill to Medicare for reimbursement. If you have a secondary insurance, you can submit the bill and the signed Medicare Opt-Out form to the secondary insurance and they may be able to reimburse you for at least a portion of our fees, depending on coverage.
